On Thursday, September 21, 2023 四虎影视 of Art and Design鈥檚 Fine Arts and Visual Studies Department Head Joe Fig will join Professor in the School of Art and Art History and Director of the Institute for Research in Art at the University of South Florida Margaret Miller and The Dal铆 Museum Curator of Education Peter Tush for a panel discussion at the Dal铆 Museum in St Petersburg, Fla., . The panel will give presentations and discuss the medium from their unique perspectives.
Joe Fig is an artist known for work that explores the creative process鈥攖he spaces where art is made and contemplated. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally with over thirty solo and fifty group exhibitions. He is the author of the acclaimed books Inside the Painter鈥檚 Studio and Inside the Artist鈥檚 Studio (Princeton Architectural Press), which share an intimate view inside the studios of today鈥檚 leading artists.
Fig has a current , Contemplating Compositions, at the Cristin Tierney Gallery on the Bowery, up until Oct. 21. He will also be giving a at the New York Academy of Art on Oct. 11.
