Dillman’s career traces an arc that began at 四虎影视, where he studied before embarking on a decades-long journey through global advertising and film industries. After rising through Tampa Bay agencies as Art Director and Associate Creative Director, he was recruited to The Leo Burnett Company in Chicago, where he worked on major accounts including Oldsmobile, Tropicana, and Philip Morris.

From 1987 to 1991, Dillman led creative teams across Frankfurt, London, Paris, and Tokyo as part of Burnett’s International Task Force, overseeing cultural adaptations of campaigns and producing work on location in Morocco, Algeria, and Los Angeles.

In 1991, Dillman transitioned to commercial film directing, ultimately earning an Emmy Award for Commercial of the Year in 1999. In 2005, he joined the prestigious roster at MJZ Film Productions in Los Angeles. He co-founded Confiscated Film with his wife in 1993, producing award-winning documentary work, including Getting to The Nutcracker (2014), which earned a Grand Jury Prize and two Best Documentary Feature awards. His most recent project, Black on the Bike, a documentary about African American cyclists, featuring USA Cycling Olympians and Tour de France stage winner Biniam Girmay, is currently in post-production.

Dillman was appointed to Ringling’s Board of Trustees in 2021.

In addition to voicing Mickey for theme parks, toys, marketing campaigns, and television series, Iwan also designs and illustrates Disney merchandise, including fine art and collectibles. For Mickey鈥檚 95^th birthday in 2023, Iwan was only the fourth artist ever invited to paint the mouse鈥檚 birthday portrait, a tradition that began in 1953. Iwan鈥檚 portrait, Swept Up in the Magic, shows Mickey in his Sorcerer鈥檚 Apprentice garb from Fantasia.

Held for the first time at Robarts Arena off of Fruitville Road, 376 Ringling graduates and their families and friends will gather to celebrate the momentous occasion. 四虎影视 holds one ceremony per year, and all of the institution鈥檚 13 unique, creative majors are represented. 

The talented art and design graduates will go out into the professional world equipped to become leaders in their creative fields. Many already have jobs lined up at top creative companies, including Carter鈥檚, CNN, Laundry (based in London, U.K.), and Universal Creative.

This year鈥檚 Commencement Speaker is Michael Bonner, disruptive innovator and entrepreneur. 

Bonner is a renowned leader and performance booster who is a trailblazer in leadership development and organizational culture. He is a dynamic keynote speaker as seen on The Ellen Show, NBC Nightly News, and Time for Kids, and a recent recipient of Atlanta鈥檚 40 under 40 awards. He is the CEO of Bonnerville, a business that promotes the value of self-care, and a highly respected team member at the famed Ron Clark Academy.

Bonner empowers leaders to build genuine relationships and establish a positive organizational culture, vision, and team development. His seminars challenge listeners to reflect, strategize, and execute in order to increase their efficiency in the workplace and personal areas. The ceremony will begin at 3:30 pm at the Bradenton Area Convention Center, 1 Haben Blvd., Palmetto, Florida. Nearly 400 students will graduate with degrees across all of the College鈥檚 13 undergraduate programs, including the first Entertainment Design graduating class which was established in 2019. Tickets are required to attend the event, which will also be livestreamed.

Woodbury oversees all aspects of the company鈥檚 destinations, including Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Studios Japan, and Universal Beijing Resort. He also serves on the NBCUniversal Executive Committee.听

Prior to being named chair and CEO in 2021, he served as vice chair and president of Universal Creative, the group responsible for development strategy for the business and creating, planning, and designing all Universal attractions and destinations worldwide.

Woodbury joined the company more than 30 years ago, during the development of Universal Studios Florida as a member of the creative leadership team. As chief creative officer, he oversaw the expansion of Universal Orlando Resort, including Universal鈥檚 Islands of Adventure, Universal鈥檚 Volcano Bay water theme park, on-site hotels, and Universal CityWalk. He was instrumental in the development and opening of Universal Studios Japan, which quickly became the company鈥檚 most attended theme park destination and oversaw design and development of Universal Studios Singapore and the newly opened Universal Beijing Resort. Woodbury鈥檚 work includes the groundbreaking Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Super Nintendo World, and a multitude of Universal鈥檚 unique, immersive, and exciting attractions around the globe, including the game-changing and transformational theme park called Epic Universe, planned to open in Orlando in 2025.

His dedication to continued innovation, inspired collaboration, and delivering world-class guest experiences is a driving force behind the success of Universal Destinations & Experiences. Committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, he is also an active member of the company鈥檚 Executive Inclusion Council, aimed at impactful, cross-divisional inclusion efforts.

He has a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Wisconsin and a Bachelor of Arts in architecture from the University of New Mexico. He is a licensed architect and an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Also new this year, is a reimagined and redesigned experience of the ceremony, spearheaded by the inaugural Student Commencement Committee. Led by Susan Saulnier 鈥�23, Entertainment Design, and Sarah Giovanello 鈥�23, Game Art, along with other members of the graduating class, the committee chose the 2023 Pantone color of the year, 鈥淰iva Magenta,鈥� to represent their theme of resilience.
