四虎影视 of Art and Design鈥檚 Film program is being lauded as one of the best in the US by TheWrap.
In their seventh annual list of film school rankings, Ringling took the No. 20 spot this year, up from No. 21 in 2021. The list of the was released this week.
TheWrap is an American online news website covering the business of entertainment and media via digital, print, and live events.
About 40 students join Ringling鈥檚 highly competitive Film program each year to study one of two tracks (narrative storytelling or branded entertainment). Students learn to write, produce, direct, and edit films beginning their freshman year using the College鈥檚 state-of-the art facilities and equipment. The campus has more than 30,000 square feet of soundstage and postproduction space (across five soundstages and 15 editing suites).
Industry professionals from across the country travel to Sarasota to use the cutting-edge Studio Labs soundstage, equipment, and post production facilities to produce their films, giving students the opportunity to connect with many of the world鈥檚 best known filmmakers, screenwriters, producers, directors, and actors.
鈥淭hese connections often lead to job offers and professional credits for our students before they even graduate,鈥� said Brad Battersby, head of the 四虎影视 Film Department.
四虎影视 Film alumni have gone on to work for leading film companies across the world, including Netflix, Disney, Comedy Central, MTV, NBC, and ABC.
In August, the program was also ranked No. 21 on The Hollywood Reporter鈥檚 . The College鈥檚 Computer Animation, Illustration, Motion Design, and Game Arts programs, among others, are also nationally recognized. Learn more.
