Minoring in Film Studies at 四虎影视

The Film Studies minor provides students with a broad understanding of cinema as a cultural force and storytelling medium.

Courses, including those on genres, history, directors, and cultural perspectives, offer insight and perspective into visual storytelling鈥攁 focus here at 四虎影视. Cinema was the first medium to tell stories with moving images, and the conventions, genres, standards, and archetypes of film are the foundation of popular art forms that followed in its wake. As such, the Film Studies minor is a valuable complement to a range of majors.

Liberal Arts at 四虎影视

Our mission at 四虎影视 is to instill students with knowledge about the interconnectedness of global systems and cultures, a perspective of the planetary scale within which we reside, and a sense of curiosity about the world through the Liberal Arts. These courses, alongside their chosen major, provide students with a well-rounded art and design education.
